Alaska Airlines, a branch of the Alaska Air Group headquartered in Washington, announced on Tuesday the introduction of new seasonal nonstop flights for the upcoming summer. For the first time, the airline will connect Anchorage with Detroit and Sacramento, while also reinstating its nonstop service between Fairbanks and Portland.
Starting June 14, 2025, Anchorage will offer nonstop flights to Detroit and Sacramento, increasing its total to 15 nonstop destinations during the summer. This marks the highest number of routes ever provided from Anchorage, including trips to the Lower 48 states and Hawaii.
Additionally, the airline will resume its daily nonstop service from Fairbanks to Portland, commencing May 15, 2025.
