Antofagasta (ANFGY.PK, ANTO.L) announced that its copper production for 2024 reached 664,000 tonnes, marking a 1% increase compared to the previous year. However, gold production for the same period declined by 11% to 186,900 ounces, attributable to lower grades at Centinela Concentrates. Molybdenum production for the full year stood at 10,700 tonnes, consistent with the previous year's output.

In the fourth quarter, copper production amounted to 200,300 tonnes, reflecting a 12% increase from the previous quarter. Gold production during this period was 68,200 ounces, which represented a 32% rise quarter-over-quarter.

The company reiterated its earlier projection that total copper production for the entire year of 2025 is anticipated to range between 660,000 and 700,000 tonnes, with a modest increase expected at Centinela Concentrates.
