Sospiro Strings offers a Kontakt library designed for crafting slow, emotive strings. It comprises four different length swells and three sustained articulations, captured on bass, cello, viola, and violin.
Features:
- Individual nki's for each instrument and a mixed nki for quick sketches and memory conservation.
- Two types of Swells:
- Vibrato swells for a warm, distinctive sound, with variations based on time-stretching.
- Non-vibrato swells for clear tones, highlighting changes in volume.
- Single velocity layer for each vibrato and non-vibrato version.
- Length in Beats slider for selecting swell length, with time-stretching as needed.
- Length Multiplier for adjusting tempo effects.
- Smart Release for matching release length with note duration.
- Sync feature to synchronize added or changed notes with the first played note.
- Cold sustains: slow bow, no vibrato, fragile sound.
- Warm sustains: fast bow over fingerboard, generous vibrato.
- Full sustains: heavy bow closer to bridge, discreet vibrato.
