Bio-Techne Corporation, a prominent provider in the realm of life science reagents, instruments, and services, announced on Thursday a strategic partnership with Waters Corporation. This collaboration aims to enhance the processes of biotherapeutic characterization and development through a co-marketing and co-promotion agreement.

The alliance will integrate Bio-Techne's MauriceFlex System, which specializes in charge separation, with Waters' BioAccord LC-MS System, renowned for its liquid chromatography mass spectrometry capability. This synergy is set to offer innovative solutions designed to streamline workflows, enhance accuracy, and accelerate the development timelines within the field.

Both companies have already embarked on numerous collaborative projects. Scientists and commercial teams from Bio-Techne and Waters have participated in various initiatives, including publishing an application note, hosting a webinar, showcasing poster presentations, and delivering talks at prestigious conferences such as CASSS MS, the Festival of Biologics, and PEGS EU.

Looking ahead, application scientists from both organizations intend to unveil joint findings pertaining to additional biomolecule classes at forthcoming scientific gatherings. These insights will inform application notes, webinars, and presentations during future Bio-Techne User Group Meetings, underscoring each company's capabilities in advancing biotherapeutic characterization and development processes.
