Shares of Canopy Growth Corp. (CGC) are experiencing a nearly 5% increase in pre-market trading following the announcement of Brooks Jorgensen's appointment as President, effective January 6. With 25 years of experience, Jorgensen becomes the company's inaugural President. In pre-market trading, CGC shares are up 4.08%, currently priced at $3.06 on the Nasdaq.
