RSS CNX Resources Announces $200 Mln Private Placement Of Senior Notes

CNX Resources Corporation (CNX) has announced its intention to issue $200 million in senior notes with an interest rate of 7.250 percent, set to mature in 2032. This offering will be conducted through a private placement, targeting eligible investors. The funds raised are earmarked for general corporate purposes, particularly to partially fund the costs related to the acquisition of Apex that is currently in progress.

These new notes will be issued as an addition to the existing indenture dated February 23, 2024, under which CNX had previously issued $400 million in senior notes, also bearing an interest rate of 7.250 percent and maturing in 2032.

As of now, CNX shares are trading at $30.38, which marks an increase of 1.27 percent or $0.38 on the New York Stock Exchange.
