Industrial turnover in Cyprus continued its upward trajectory for the fourth consecutive month as of October, according to data released by the Statistical Service on Friday.
In October, industrial sales rose by 1.0 percent compared to the same month last year, building upon the 0.9 percent growth observed in September.
Breaking it down by sectors, the manufacturing industry experienced a 3.7 percent increase year-over-year, while the mining and quarrying sectors saw a 6.6 percent rise. Conversely, the electricity supply sector faced a 9.4 percent decline.
For the first ten months of 2024, industrial sales have shown a 2.1 percent increase compared to the same period in the previous year.
