The number of tourists visiting Cyprus in November experienced a 12.7% increase compared to the same month the previous year, totaling 179,941 individuals, according to preliminary data released by the statistical office, Cystat, on Tuesday.
Tourist arrivals for the January to November period saw a 5.0% rise, reaching 3.9 million visitors.
British tourists made up the largest segment, accounting for 25.9% of all November visitors to Cyprus. They were followed by tourists from Poland, Israel, Germany, and Greece.
Of the total tourists, 64.5% traveled to the European country for holidays, 17.2% were visiting friends and relatives, and 18.1% arrived for business purposes.
