The Czech Republic witnessed a consecutive rise in its unemployment rate for the second month in December, as reported by the labor office on Thursday. The unemployment rate elevated to 4.1 percent in December, an increase from 3.9 percent in November. In December of the previous year, the unemployment rate was recorded at 3.7 percent. The number of unemployed individuals reached 306,500 in December, up from 290,400 in the prior month. The labor office highlighted that by the end of September, there were 246,573 vacancies registered at job offices, a decline from 255,641 vacancies in the month before.
