Exports in the Netherlands saw an upward trend for the third consecutive month in November, marking the fastest growth rate in over 18 months, as reported by the CBS statistical office on Wednesday.
In November, exports climbed by 4.2% compared to the same month last year, outpacing the 2.3% growth observed in October. This represents the most robust increase since March 2023, when exports experienced a 4.6% rise.
Notably, exports of food, luxury goods, chemical products, machinery, and equipment showed significant increases, according to the agency. The data also highlighted a 1.8% year-on-year increase in import volumes for November.
The CBS Export Radar for January indicates that the conditions for exports have become less unfavorable compared to the situation outlined in the November radar.
