In October, the Netherlands experienced a consecutive monthly increase in exports, as reported by the country’s statistical office, CBS, on Thursday. Exports grew by 1.7% compared to the same month the previous year, though this was a deceleration from the 2.7% growth seen in September. Notably, there was an uptick in the export of food and luxury goods, machinery and electrical equipment, and chemical products. Conversely, import volumes for October fell by 2.4% relative to the previous year. The CBS Export Radar for December indicated that export conditions were less favorable than those recorded in October.
