The unemployment rate in the Netherlands remained consistent for the fourth consecutive month in December, according to data released by the Central Bureau of Statistics on Thursday. The seasonally adjusted ILO unemployment rate was steady at 3.7 percent in December, mirroring the rate observed over the past four months. In comparison, the unemployment rate was slightly lower at 3.6 percent during the same month the previous year. The number of unemployed individuals increased slightly to 373,000 in December, up from 372,000 in the month before. The unemployment rate among the youth, covering the 15-25 age demographic, remained unchanged at 8.7 percent.
