DXC Technology announced its continued collaboration with Ferrari by renewing their partnership to advance the development of next-generation in-vehicle infotainment systems for Ferrari automobiles.
As part of this longstanding partnership, DXC took significant strides in 2021 by reengineering the Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems for both existing and upcoming Ferrari models.
Most recently, DXC has crafted the software for Ferrari's latest supercar, the F80, introduced in October 2024 and designed for dual road and track use. DXC's customized software allows the F80's various displays to deliver a cohesive, high-speed performance experience for both driver and, optionally, the passenger with an additional display. This 'digital cockpit' system seamlessly adapts from a public road configuration to a racing mode on the track, presenting real-time performance metrics such as speed, G-force, RPMs, and tire pressure. The dynamic visuals enhance the racing experience for users both on and off the track.
