Mojo employs a finite impulse response (FIR) filter that adds a distinctive tone to your audio by utilizing impulse responses (IRs) taken from vintage devices, each with its own distinct frequency response. The FIR filter integrates your signal with an IR sample acquired from an external device.

In Mojo Version 2, over 300 IR files have been included, sourced from a diverse range of outboard gear, consoles, microphones, effect pedals, and more (gathered from various contributors). Additionally, a 3-band EQ is available to meticulously adjust the character of your sound.
