Hello, my friends! I am telling you today about special tool named Censys.io. Is very useful for finding information about websites and hosts.

Step 1: Make Account
First, you must go to Censys.io and make account. Clicking on "Sign Up" button, filling information, and confirming email is needed. They give you free searchings, but if you need more, you must pay money.

Step 2: Using Search Engine
Now, you open search engine in Censys.io. If you wanting to find information on IP address, website, or certificate, you type what you look for in search bar. For example, you type "google.com" and hitting search button, you find much information.

Step 3: Understanding Information
You seeing many things on page like IP addresses, locations, and more. If you are new, maybe confusing, but I try explain simple. You see, you find what servers are running, what software is using, and where it is in world. Is good for security research.

Step 4: Using API
If you are person who liking to use code, Censys.io having API. You can connect to other tools and make automated searchings. For using, you must reading documentation on website. You follow instructions, and all is good.

Step 5: Being Responsible
Censys.io is powerful tool, but must use with responsibility. Not using for bad things or without permission. Is not good, and is illegal. Be professional and ethical.

Example Search: Finding Certificates with Specific Fingerprint

Maybe you wanting to find specific certificates by using fingerprint. Is very good way to find exactly what you looking for. Here, I show you example:

Go to Search Bar: You open Censys.io and you look at search bar.
Type Specific Query: You type this in search bar: services.tls.certificates.leaf_data.fingerprint: "your_fingerprint_here". You replace "your_fingerprint_here" with real fingerprint you looking for.
Hit Search Button: You click on search button, and you wait little time.
See Results: Now, you seeing all results that matching fingerprint. You see details of certificate like issuer, subject, and more.

Example Search: Finding Hikvision Web Server Instances

Is another interesting search, my friends. If you wanting to find where Hikvision Web Server is used, you can follow these steps:

Go to Search Bar Again: You go to Censys.io and find search bar.
Type Special Query: You type in search bar this: services.software.product="Hikvision Web Server". This telling Censys.io to look for this special software.
Click Search Button: You click on button that looking like magnifying glass. You wait little moment.
Look at Results: Now, you see many results showing where Hikvision Web Server is used. You find IP addresses, locations, and other details.

Example Search: Finding Remote Access Services in Iran

Maybe you are wanting to find information about remote access services in Iran. Is specific search, but Censys.io can do it. Follow these steps:

Go to Search Bar Once More: Open Censys.io and look for the search bar, same as before.
Type This Special Query: You must type in search bar: location.country="Iran" AND labels="remote-access". This telling Censys.io to find remote access services in Iran.
Click on Search Button: You know what to do here – click on search button and wait small time.
See What You Find: Now you see results showing remote access services in Iran. You find many things like IP addresses, software details, and more.
