Estonia experienced a slight decline in industrial output during November, primarily attributed to a drop in electricity production, according to data released on Monday by Statistics Estonia.
When adjusted for the calendar, industrial production fell by 0.1% year-on-year in November, following a stagnant performance in the preceding month.
Focusing on key sectors, electricity production experienced a substantial decline of 15.3% over the year, while mining output fell by 2.3%. In contrast, manufacturing output saw an increase of 1.5%.
On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial production expanded at a more robust pace, growing by 2.8% in November. This contrasts with a 1.5% decline recorded in the previous month.
Without any adjustments, the annual industrial output in November contracted by 2.5%, counteracting the 2.5% growth observed in October.
