Germany's factory orders and retail sales, along with the euro area's economic sentiment, are the primary focus for European economic updates scheduled for Wednesday.

At 2:00 a.m. ET, Destatis will release data on Germany's factory orders and retail sales for November. Analysts anticipate a 0.3% month-on-month decrease in factory orders, which would represent a slower decline compared to October's 1.5% drop. Retail sales are expected to rise by 0.5%, recovering from the previous month's 1.5% fall.

At 2:45 a.m. ET, France's INSEE will unveil the consumer confidence survey results. The consumer sentiment index is projected to slip to 89 in December, slightly down from November's 90. Additionally, France will release its foreign trade and current account figures.

At 5:00 a.m. ET, the EU will report on the Eurozone's monthly economic sentiment survey. The economic confidence index is anticipated to decrease slightly to 95.6 in December from 95.8 the previous month.

Also at 5:00 a.m., Eurostat will issue data on Eurozone producer prices. Expectations are for a 1.2% annual decline in producer prices following a 3.2% decrease in October.
