At 4:00 AM ET, the European Central Bank will release current account data for the euro area pertaining to November. The current account surplus is projected to rise to EUR 28.0 billion, up from EUR 25.8 billion in October.
At 5:00 AM ET, Eurostat will unveil the final inflation figures for the euro area for December. Preliminary estimates indicated that inflation had climbed to a five-month peak of 2.4%, up from 2.2% in November.
