Explore Restrung Volume 1, the latest addition to our Artist Series, a solo string library featuring violin, viola, and cello. Experience the raw, close, visceral sound, perfect for Neo Classical, Tension, or Horror music. This unique sound source enhances orchestral strings, adding punch and grit to your compositions.

Recorded with Joni Fuller, each instrument was multi-sampled across 3 octaves with multiple velocity layers, round robins, and 8 articulations. The recordings were made in a tight room using the same setup as our popular Unstrung library. The aggressive performance captures tension and horror cues, with imperfections for a realistic, raw sound.

For extra grit, we added an extra 3-octave layer of noisy, screechy notes for the Spiccatissimo, Spiccato, and Staccato articulations. Other articulations can overlay these aggression layers for harder attacks and unique sound combinations.

Restrung Volume 1 includes 3 Kontakt (6.7.1+) instruments and installs via Native Access, compatible with the Free Kontakt Player and fully NKS compatible for total parameter control via your NKS keyboard.
