Germany's unemployment rate held steady in November, according to labor force survey results released by Destatis on Friday. The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate was constant at 3.4 percent, same as in October. However, the number of unemployed individuals decreased by 2,000, bringing the total to 1.52 million.
On the unadjusted front, unemployment figures showed an increase of 138,000 individuals, marking a 10.1 percent rise from the previous year. Consequently, the jobless rate grew to 3.3 percent, up from 3.1 percent the year before.
Furthermore, the data revealed that employment figures remained virtually unchanged in November compared to the same period last year. This marks the third consecutive month where employment levels have remained consistent, according to Destatis.
