Neon White has a special mode that allows you to play the popular and acclaimed speedrunning game in an all-new way that players that want to truly prove their mastery at the game will want to unlock. This mode is known as Level Rush Mode and is the greatest challenge that players will be able to face in the game. Luckily, the process of unlocking the bonus mode is very simple, if a bit time-consuming (or not, if you’re fast enough!) How to Unlock Level Rush Mode in Neon White
To unlock the Level Rush modes for Violet, Yellow, Red, and Mikey is pretty similar, so we’ll be grouping them together. To unlock their Level Rush modes, you’ll need to collect all presents for each person throughout all the game’s levels, which can at times be a bit tricky. Once acquired, gift it to these people and unlock their Dialogue, Sidequests, Memories, and Gifts. Once you’ve completed these for a particular person’s track and seen their final memory, you’ll unlock their Heaven and Hell Rush modes. For Violet, Yellow, and Red, these will involve either completing all of their sidequest missions in one sitting or doing so without dying a single time. Mikey’s on the other hand works a bit differently, asking you to complete all main levels in the game in one sitting using only Dominion cards either normally or without dying. These can be exceptionally challenging, so we suggest taking care of them last.
It should be mentioned that the Level Rushes are tied to Achievements in Neon White, but they are not required to "100% the game." To get the "100%" Achievement, players must achieve platinum on every Level and unlock the True Ending. However, Level Rushes are not included in the prerequisites.
There are two versions of Level Rush Mode: Heaven and Hell. The Heaven Mode allows you to reset missions with no life limit or penalty while the Hell Mode makes players complete the run with a set number of resets and lives, making it a mode meant for those who have truly mastered the game!
