In November, Hungary observed a deceleration in the growth of average gross earnings, following a period of acceleration the month prior, according to data released by the Hungarian Central Statistical Office this Thursday. Year-on-year, average gross earnings increased by 11.9% in November, down from a 12.9% rise in October. The average gross earnings reached HUF 695,109 in November, up from HUF 637,245 the previous month. Additionally, net earnings experienced an annual growth of 11.8% in November, while real earnings saw a rise of 7.9% compared to the same period last year. Meanwhile, median gross earnings stood at HUF 550,800, with median net earnings at HUF 383,400, marking an increase over the previous year's figures by 12.5% and 13.3%, respectively.
