Independent Bank Corp. (IBCP), the parent company of Michigan-based Independent Bank, has announced the appointment of Christopher Michaels as its new Chief Operating Officer, effective January 2.
Michaels, who has been a part of the company for over a decade, most recently held the positions of Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President since January 2020.
