Here’s a sneak peek at the songs we’ll be writing together. All samples will be available in the course downloads so you can follow along.

Course Overview

In this course, we’ll build a track together from scratch for a hands-on learning experience.

All samples and presets used throughout the course are provided.
We start by creating a 16-bar loop idea.
We develop the loop into a full arrangement.
We add details and final touches, preparing the track for mixing and mastering.
Finally, we mix and master the track together, ready for distribution.

Software Requirements

While many concepts apply to other DAWs and synths, we’ll use Ableton Live 12 Suite for this course.

Song 1 uses Ableton native synthesizers and effects.
Song 2 uses u-he Diva as the main synth.
