Distinct Reverb Modes
The JST Sky Box offers seven unique reverb modes, each presenting a plethora of tonal possibilities.
Cloud
This reverb mode, reminiscent of a cloud, combines depth and ethereality. It produces a distant echo that seems to envelop you from all directions, creating a simultaneously calming and unsettling effect. Pinpointing its origin or destination can be challenging.
Chorale
Ideal for prolonged, sustained notes that echo and fade away, the chorusing reverb mode mimics a choir singing in a vast, empty space. It is frequently employed in music to evoke feelings of awe or mystery through modulation.
Shimmer
Characterized by a bright, sparkling sound, the shimmer reverb mode is perfect for creating a light, airy effect or a sharper tone as needed.
Room
Emulating the sound of an input signal bouncing off the walls of a live room, the Room reverb mode imparts a sense of spaciousness and depth. It is commonly used in music to achieve a more natural or intimate sound.
Plate
Simulating the sound of an input signal bouncing off a metal plate, the Plate reverb mode is distinguished by a prolonged, smooth decay and a bright, metallic tone.
Spring
Creating a lush, echoing sound by emulating the audio signal passing through a spring coil, the Spring reverb mode captures the vibrations that result in a decaying sound.
Blood
An ominous reverb mode, Blood, produces a dark and foreboding sound-the manifestation of evil lurking in the shadows, poised to strike. It induces feelings of fear and dread, quickening the heartbeat.
