What you'll learn
Learn how to play Moon River as a complete beginner, which means I'll start by showing you the position of the violin and bow
Learn some violin position basics while learning a beautiful song
I'll guide you through every step so that by the end of the course you'll be able to play this song even if you've never played violin before
I'll provide some comfortable fingerings for a beginner, and some for an intermediate player which would require some extra knowledge but I'll help you there.
Requirements
No experience needed, just your violin and bow
Having tapes on the fingerboard would help so you can find the notes we'll be learning in this course.
Description
In this course you will learn how to play the beautiful song Moon River from that movie breakfast at Tiffany's! I will guide through every step of the way, from position to what fingerings you should use. I'll teach you how to hold the violin and bow, where to place your fingers, how much bow to use for expression, and everything that will help you sound beautiful by the end of the course! I will provide some fingerings that will be great for beginners, and then some great for intermediate players. the goal of this course is to help you learn some basics about position and technique while also learning a beautiful song like Moon River. Playing the violin is not easy, and the beginning of the training process can be daunting at times, because the exercises can be intense (or even tedious). However, in this course we'll skip that tedious part and go straight to the fun part of being able to play a beautiful song! Of course I'd advise you to also try some technique and position courses to continue improving your playing. I will be posting some more courses on this soon, so stay tuned! I hope you enjoy this course.
