Leidos Holdings, Inc. (LDOS) has announced that it has secured a significant 10-year contract, designed to deliver essential engineering and maintenance services for Foreign Military Sales clients using the U.S. Air Force's F-16 Fighting Falcon.

Valued at $987 million, this contract tasks Leidos with providing post-production support and maintaining real-time visibility on asset repair tracking status. Furthermore, the company is expected to mitigate risks associated with diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages.

This contract was granted by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center. During pre-market trading, Leidos's shares are seeing an uptick, trading at $147.98, reflecting a 1.32 percent increase on the New York Stock Exchange.
