Chronicles from the Stars emerged at Superbooth in Berlin, from a collaboration between the European Sound Collective (ESC) and Luftrum.

ESC is a group of freelance sound designers from Europe who specialize in creating synth presets. This collective includes part-time enthusiasts, hobbyists, and professionals.

Chronicles from the Stars features 100 presets for Omnisphere 2, designed by ESC members and curated by Luftrum.

This soundset captures the mystery and majesty of the cosmos, appealing to those intrigued by the universe. It raises the question, “Is there life beyond Earth?” and offers a sonic journey filled with imagination and awe. This Omnisphere expansion is perfect for stargazing or escaping into a starlit auditory world.

Explore ambient soundscapes echoing from the infinite cosmos, where signals from distant galaxies mix with alien textures. Drift through clouds of cosmic dust and immerse yourself in interstellar sounds and the gentle arpeggios of twinkling stars.

Presets were created by ESC members Burny Huber, Carl Lofgren (Plughugger), Fred Nongat (Subsonic Artz), Henrik Larsen (JX3D), Tim Dale (SabreSounds), Anton Anru (Anru Sounds), Adam Henderson (CAXA), Charles Coblin, Jan Bakker, and Michael Muth. Each designer brings their unique interpretation of space and the cosmos, resulting in a rich variety of sounds from ethereal and experimental to obscure and otherworldly.

Compatible with Omnisphere version 2.8 or later, the set includes a PDF guide for easy installation and categorizes presets according to official Spectrasonics categories.
