RSS Millicom International Cellular Board Approves New Shareholder Remuneration Policy

Millicom International Cellular S.A. has announced that its board has endorsed a new policy for shareholder remuneration. This strategy involves resuming regular cash dividends, with a focus on maintaining or increasing these payouts annually, while upholding a sound capital structure within a targeted long-term leverage range of 2.0-2.5 times.

After distributing an interim dividend of $1.00 per share on January 10, the board anticipates approving an additional interim dividend of $0.75 per share, scheduled for payment in April 2025, following the announcement of Millicom's fourth-quarter 2024 financial results.

Additionally, the board plans to seek approval at the Annual General Meeting of shareholders in Luxembourg on May 21, 2025, for a dividend of $3.00 per share, which would be distributed in four equal quarterly payments.
