To conclude an exceptional season for Moment, we're thrilled to unveil something extraordinary that has been in the works for months – a pack created by a name synonymous with the entire industry's acclaim. DJ Fuck, the frenzied turntablist alter ego of the trailblazing virtual performer, artist, and VR puppeteer Sam Rolfes, is renowned for hyper-speed AV internet-music DJ sets that have electrified stages alongside Danny L Harle, Lil Mariko, Dorian Electra, PC Music, and more within the avant-garde club scene. Their sets, characterized by their rapid and frenetic nature, seamlessly blend CDJ instrumentalism with a burst of breakcore, hardstyle, hyperp*p, and an eclectic mix of meme music.

The full story unfolds with Deck Thrashers XR, a sample pack paying homage to DJ Qbert's classic scratch records while pushing the boundaries of contemporary CDJ technology. We entrusted Moment alumnus DJH to craft original breaks, zaps, and fully club-ready tracks for DJ Fuck to manipulate, chop, and spin into a realm of sonic oblivion. The additional task was assigned to umru to complete the creative endeavor! :)

Recorded primarily in a Pirate studio over a single day, our objective was to seamlessly transfer the distinctive sonic essence of the equipment heard every weekend directly into your home DAW. Deck Thrashers XR stands as our most extensive pack to date, featuring 391 samples of unadulterated deck mayhem, spanning from attention-grabbing scratch loops to crowd-energizing effects, alongside original vocals from DJ Fuck and long-time collaborators Holly+ and Katabelle.

Reflecting on the pack's recordings, Sam translated some of the alter ego's ecstatic utterances: "OUAGH BABYY (this collection is a fresh, digital interpretation of classic turntablist break records)," exclaimed the frenetic disc jockey between takes, further elucidating with a series of Korn-like grunts, "OOWACKA WACKA GRRRRRRAOUW DECK THRASHERZ YAYAYAYA (in collaboration with DJH, Deck Thrashers XR dissects the CDJ jogwheel as a one-dimensional instrument and expands it into intense melodic and rhythmic cascades)."

With 390 meticulously crafted samples, Deck Thrashers XR is a sonic journey into the avant-garde realms of DJ Fuck's world.
