Orb Horns and Bones complements our Orb Trumpets brass library. We recorded the French horns and trombones in their traditional positions at Orb Studios in Austin, Texas. This addition completes our brass package (excluding the tuba) and explores how this performance-focused sampling approach fits within a full context.

Similar to the trumpets, these samples come from curated phrases and are programmed to leverage those performances. This design supports dynamic, melodic writing without needing keyswitching—simply adjust the velocity for softer or harder notes and use the modwheel for dynamics.

The horns and trombones were carefully tuned, maintaining crucial intonation nuances for better performance in chords and lines within their sections and with other brass instruments.
