Preliminary data released by the State Statistical Office on Friday indicates that industrial producer prices in North Macedonia experienced an accelerated increase in November. The report highlights a 5.5 percent growth in producer prices compared to the same period last year, following a 5.1 percent rise in October.
The mining and quarrying sector witnessed a significant price increase of 10.6 percent, while the manufacturing sector saw a 4.9 percent rise. In addition, prices in the electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply industry surged by 14.3 percent. Month-on-month, prices climbed by 0.6 percent in November, after a 0.7 percent increase in October.
