Norway's retail sector experienced growth for the second consecutive month in November, according to preliminary figures released by Statistics Norway on Friday.
In November, the volume of retail sales saw a seasonally adjusted increase of 0.3% compared to October, maintaining the same rate of growth as the previous month.
Sales of information and communication technology (ICT) equipment saw a significant surge, climbing 15.3% over the month. Meanwhile, sales in the food products category grew by 0.9%. Conversely, sales of automotive fuel experienced a decline, dropping by 1.8%.
On an annual basis, retail sales showed improvement, with a rise of 0.3% in November, recovering from a 0.3% decline recorded in the previous month.
