Portugal's unemployment rate experienced a minor uptick in November, following a period of stability the previous month, according to preliminary data released by Statistics Portugal on Monday.
The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate edged up to 6.7% in November, from 6.6% in October.
Comparatively, the unemployment rate stood at 6.5% during the same month last year.
In November, the number of unemployed individuals reached 363,800, marking a slight increase from 362,800 the month before.
Conversely, the youth unemployment rate, concerning individuals aged 16 to 24, decreased to 21.5% in November, down from 22.1% in October.
Meanwhile, the employment rate registered at 64.2% in November, a marginal decline from 64.3% observed in the previous month.
