Renault SA, the renowned French automobile manufacturer, announced on Tuesday that Chief Financial Officer Thierry Piéton will be leaving the company on February 28 to pursue a new professional opportunity, details of which will be revealed soon.
Effective March 1, Duncan Minto will assume the position of Chief Financial Officer. Currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer of Alpine since October 2023, Minto will join the Renault Leadership Team and report directly to CEO Luca de Meo in his new role.
Thierry Piéton has dedicated nine years to Renault Group, significantly contributing to the firm's strategic deployment and operational turnaround.
Commenting on the new appointment, CEO Luca de Meo stated, "With 25 years of experience in finance and a deep understanding of both the Group and the automotive industry, Duncan will be well-equipped to continue, and even accelerate, the initiatives currently in progress. He will play a critical role in the Group's transformation and in the successful execution of our plan to unlock the full potential of our company."
