SGS SA (SGSOY), a leading company in the Testing, Inspection, and Certification sector, announced on Wednesday its acquisition of Aster Global Environmental Solutions, Inc. The financial specifics of the transaction have not been revealed.

This acquisition is in line with SGS’s Strategy 27, enhancing its ability to leverage its core competencies. It strategically positions SGS to address significant growth trends within the Testing, Inspection, and Certification industry.

Founded in 2019, Aster Global expands SGS’s capabilities in greenhouse gas services across North America and globally, adding valuable accreditations and expertise to the company's portfolio. Additionally, 25 experienced employees will join SGS as part of this acquisition.

On the preceding day, SGSOY shares had decreased by 0.30%, closing at $10.08.
