The Signal Path team had the privilege of recording drums with the versatile Vancil Cooper for two days at Sound Factory Studios in Los Angeles. Beyond his renown as a drummer, Vancil has carved out a diverse career as a musical director, producer, audio engineer, and educator. With a background steeped in a family of professional musicians, his path in music was predestined. He received a full scholarship to the esteemed Berklee College of Music, establishing himself in Boston and beyond, both in the studio and on tour throughout the year. His impressive resume boasts collaborations with notable names such as HAMILTON: An American Musical, Queen Latifah, Jon Bellion, Teyana Taylor, Nick Carter (Backstreet Boys), Jordan Knight (New Kids On The Block), Johnny A (The Yardbirds), Amel Larrieux, Lalah Hathaway, and more. This drum pack captures Vancil's distinctive sound, showcasing his versatility across various styles, offering both clean acoustic and heavily processed drums in the form of one-shots and loops.
