These materials have been supplied to their development ally, Shanghai Chip Foundation Semiconductor Technology Co., Ltd., a notable player in semiconductor and integrated circuit device manufacturing. Together, they are engaged in advancing next-generation microLED-based backlight technology for Liquid Crystal Displays.
In this strategic partnership, Smartkem contributes its exclusive organic dielectric single-layer material, also referred to as the Redistribution Layer, to Chip Foundation. This material will be used in conjunction with Chip Foundation's microLED technology to collaboratively create cutting-edge microLED device structures.
