Sonoco Products Co. (SON), a leading provider of sustainable packaging solutions, announced on Monday the departure of its Chief Financial Officer, Rob Dillard, effective as of January 3, 2025. In response, Jerry Cheatham has been appointed as the interim Chief Financial Officer.

Cheatham has held the position of Vice President of Global Finance within Sonoco's Industrial Paper Packaging segment since December 2022. The company is actively seeking a permanent replacement for the CFO position.

Additionally, John Florence, who serves as Sonoco's General Counsel and Secretary, has been assigned added responsibilities overseeing the operational aspects of the company’s North America Paper division.

The company also disclosed that former Vice President Roger Schrum has been named interim Head of Investor Relations, taking over from Lisa Weeks, the current VP of Investor Relations and Global Communications. Weeks is set to depart from the company at the end of January 2025.

Sonoco plans to release its fourth-quarter and full-year 2024 financial results on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, after the market closes.
