Spirent Communications plc (SPT.L) has released a Trading Update for the fiscal year concluding on December 31, 2024. The company anticipates that the adjusted operating profit for the year will remain consistent with the levels seen in 2023. The total revenue for the year reached approximately $460 million, a slight decrease from the $474 million recorded the previous year. Notably, the revenue for the fourth quarter, as well as for the second half of the year, experienced a growth of 5 percent.
The Group highlighted that even amidst persistent challenging market conditions, the fourth quarter experienced a significant increase in order growth compared to the same period in 2023. The rebound in orders during the latter half of the year helped offset the weaker performance in the first six months, resulting in total annual orders being on par with those in 2023.
