In one of the world's finest rooms sits one of the world's finest pianos, unfortunately subject to abuse for our unconventional desires. Seeking a lead instrument with a unique, enigmatic beauty, the Spitfire Plucked Piano module emerges as a promising option.

Paul Thomson meticulously explores the grand piano's soundboard, plucking and picking at strings with the precision of a manicurist. With Spitfire's expertise in crafting vibrant samples and seamlessly integrating instruments into compositions, the Plucked Piano module becomes essential for composers in search of distinct sounds.

Spitfire's Definitive Range strives to offer a comprehensive collection of both classic and unconventional instruments, all recorded in the same acoustically rich environment. This ensures sonic cohesion across compositions, whether blending timpani with Sable libraries or crafting curious ensembles featuring plucked pianos and harps.

Detailed mixing options allow for customization of sound, from dry to ambient, while maintaining acoustic authenticity. Recorded at Air Studios through a top-tier signal chain, including vintage microphones and pristine tape machines, the Plucked Piano module delivers unparalleled quality.

Features include dynamic control over fingerpad and nail plucks, selectable tape or digital recording, and four microphone positions for versatile mixing. The module seamlessly integrates with Spitfire's orchestral offerings, enhancing the sonic palette of composers.

Additionally, the library includes "Pluckospheres," offering a diverse array of organic tones and timbres through Spitfire's Mercury Synth engine.
