Titled after Natanael Cano's track "Amor Tumbado" (translated as "love lying"), this bundle takes its cues from corridos tumbados—a musical genre that blends Mexico's traditional melodies with the lyrical stylings of trap and hip-hop. Although Natanael Cano pioneered this fusion, producer Erick Bardeles drew inspiration from HBO's "Vgly" series when curating the collection. Bardeles explained, "These sounds encapsulate my vision of how each scene and season should resonate. The pack is heavily influenced by the pervasive reach of trap music within the Latin sphere, offering a mix of elements such as frigid, haunting melodies, heartfelt warm chords, and impactful drum patterns."
Crafted with tools like Arturia Analog Lab, Prophet 5, Mellotron Mini, The Prince, and Taylor electric and acoustic guitars, this pack integrates Erick's vocals. He took a distinctive approach, recording the vocal samples back into the microphone to capture the ambient room sound, enhancing the overall texture.
