Uber Technologies, Inc. (UBER) and Nvidia Corp. (NVDA), a leading AI chipmaker, have announced a strategic partnership to advance AI-driven autonomous driving technologies. The full scope of this collaboration will be revealed later this year.

Utilizing Uber's extensive data from its millions of daily trips, the partnership aims to leverage Nvidia's Cosmos platform and DGX Cloud to enhance the efficiency of AI model development for autonomous vehicles (AV).

Nvidia Cosmos offers a cutting-edge platform of foundational generative models, tokenizers, and pipelines for accelerated data processing and model customization. It is specifically designed to support the development of physical AI systems such as robots and autonomous vehicles. The platform aims to break down cost and resource barriers, democratizing access to essential tools for creating physical AI.

Nvidia DGX Cloud provides a high-performance AI platform that is fully managed and comes preconfigured with the latest Nvidia architecture and software.
