Varex Imaging Corp. (VREX) announced on Tuesday the pricing for its latest private offering of senior notes, which bear an interest rate of 7.875%. The offering amounts to $125 million, priced at 101.5% of the principal sum, in addition to accrued and unpaid interest from October 15, 2024.
This new issuance, maturing on October 15, 2027, supplements the firm's current suite of 7.875% senior secured notes, which total $300 million.
Varex, known for producing X-ray imaging components, plans to allocate the funds raised towards partially repaying its convertible notes due in June 2025. The repayment could occur at maturity or through repurchasing the notes before they mature.
The company anticipates closing the offering on December 20.
