Hacker Stun has created what appears to be one of the biggest free password lists available on the web. This list is a huge compilation of all the wordlists, dictionaries and passwords contained in hacked databases from the past few years. But Stun did not stop there since he also retrieved all the words from Wikipedia in all languages, as well as from many works published on the Project Gutenberg site.

This kind of list is widely used by hackers to brute force an encrypted password. Stun's list once decompressed weighs no less than 15 GB (and 4.2 GB compressed) or about 1.5 billion potential passwords...

Stun has also put online a tool called CrackStation which allows you to force passwords online. Avoid putting your top secret password there. This would then join his list which he uses to make his site work. This same list available in torrent…
