Description
Dr. Bryan Stoops has been practicing martial arts for over twenty five years. During that time he has earned high level instructorships from people like Guro Dan Inosanto, Ajarn Chai Sirisute, Sifu Francis Fong, Grand Tuhon Leo Gaje, Punong Guro Marc "Crafty Dog" Denny, Master Virgil Cavada, and other notable instructors. Bryan also has been a professional K12 educator for twenty years, and he has a masters and doctorate in education.Even with his passion for learning, and his love of martial arts, Bryan knows that sometimes, staying motivated in the martial arts FOR LIFE, can be challenging. Whether it's people behaving badly on social media, "martial artists" displaying a real lack of ethics, or just people abusing their martial arts relationships, staying positive  and avoiding martial arts burnout can be genuinely challenging. Bryan will present ideas that will take your martial arts thinking in new directions, and allow you to see entrenched parts of your practice in new ways. Martial arts practitioners of all levels are welcome, and certain to come away with new ideas and a renewed love for the martial arts. In this course, Bryan will be your guide over eight weeks as you light up the creative parts of your brain when it comes to your martial arts practice in order to avoid burnout, fall back in love with your martial arts practice, and revitalize your practice.
