Is This Workshop for Me?
Spend a full day using NestJS to build a scalable API for your enterprise applications with Lukas Ruebbelke.
If you are familiar with Angular, you already have a considerable headstart when learning NestJS. The syntax and architecture were heavily inspired by Angular, and it is often described as Angular for Node.
Our goal is to build out a fully functional and scalable API layer to be consumed by one or more frontend applications. We will start by discussing how to conceptualize and organize our code to the domain we are operating in and then build out a collection of REST APIs to match our domain model. We will then show how to integrate with a data layer using TypeORM and a few options for local development.
We would be morally remiss if we did not dedicate a part of the conversation around authorization and authentication. We will finish the workshop strong by covering configuration, testing, and deploying.
When it is all said and done, you will have a solid understanding of how to quickly spin up and scale an API that you can have confidence in to support whatever enterprisey product you are launching.

Any Prerequisites?
Solid understanding of programming and jаvascript
Current version of Node.js and NPM
Docker Desktop installed
GitHub account
AWS Account for deployments
