Perhaps this is one of the most dangerous computer viruses in history, but above all one of the most famous.

This virus arrived via email with the subject “I love you” and its captious content was the message: “Love letter for you”.

Its catchy name at the time was responsible for unsuspecting users opening the file. Immediately afterwards, it replaces the files on the computer with copies and thus proceeds to download a Trojan to steal the data of the affected user.
